Lynn, I'm ...Man, I have some replying to do!

Lynn, I'm totally impressed that you recognized the 50 1.2! It's totally the go-to for single person portraits, but I really had no choice on that day, since I banged down my bag a little too hard and shattered the filter on my 24-70. I had to send it in for cleaning (and repairs, since I shook something loose). I'm smoooooth ... like butta. But it worked out, right? 5D, definitely in love, definitely a game changer. I didn't really think I'd be so enamored but I totally am. Next step is to buy a 5D Mark II and upgrade Billy to the 5D. And thanks for the compliments! You'll have to come visit the senior site when it goes up. :)

Thanks, James! I think you and I looked at them the same way, since I was totally ticking off where they'd go in my mind too. :)

Michelle, thank you so much and I'm so excited that you were eagerly anticipating each one--that's a GREAT compliment! And the 5D is definitely AWESOME. I bought it used and I think it was probably money better spent than on a new 40D, although that has been a great workhorse of a camera for me, so I really can't have regrets. But I'd totally recommend getting one used through Roberts (where I got mine) or B&H if you can. It's niiiiice.

And Gail, thank YOU so much too! I love your excitement and them being your favorite pics of mine is a huge compliment! And YES YES YES to the parking garages--they seem so dull but there's so much potential hiding out in them. :)sarahbrowndowntownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13240509053093127212noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7530307123288132587.post-12439918993637041202009-09-10T08:47:59.051-04:002009-09-10T08:47:59.051-04:00Sarah,

I especially like that as I looked at each one I thought "senior picture" "art photo" "album cover" "Rolling Stone spread" and so on.

I think I liked the one with the wet pant legs and tuning and the first B&W of her the best. It's a game changer, for sure!

These are so beautiful, and yes, you definitely need to get them on a senior site, you'll have a million clients. :)Lynnhttp://blog.westparkphoto.comnoreply@blogger.com
